Days 3 and 4 of 30 Days Wild saw us immersed in nature, camping at the gorgeous Gimme Shelter camping ground in Fife, Scotland.
Surrounded by woods, our spot was sheltered, peaceful and incredibly beautiful. Exploring the campsite we came across birds, caterpillars, fungi and many types wildflowers, including wild orchids.
As I’m new to learning about British wildflowers there were many I couldn’t name. I’m looking forward to identifying them all in another 30 Days Wild activity later this month.
Thanks to the fabulous 30 Days Wild Facebook Group I was able to have this dramatic-looking creature identified as a Garden Tiger Moth caterpillar.
