Finlay had some friends over after school today. Rain was forecast, so I thought it would be fun to attempt some baking and craft Random Acts of Wildness.
We got off to a great start as the children came out of school wearing fox masks they had made that day. So cute 🙂 Back at home they picked strawberries from the garden, which we used to decorate cupcakes butterfly-syle (though Finlay insisted that his strawberries were crocodile jaws, not butterfly wings).
My plan was to then make origami cranes. I soon realised that it was a bit too ambitious (even with a YouTube tutorial, it’s much harder than it looks!). So staying with the fox theme, we tried origami foxes. They were much more successful.
I’m determined to master those cranes one day though.
