Building a Bug Hotel for today’s Random Act of Wildness was a family affair.
Jason knocked together a wooden box using scraps of wood left over from our home renovations and cut up some bamboo canes we found languishing in the garden shed.
Finlay and I added the sticks and pinecones we had found in our nearby woodland. Finlay put the finishing touch on by making a sign, complete with welcoming flowers. We then moved it to a protected spot in the garden to keep the rain off.
The Bug Hotel is open for business!
